Mentoring Workshop
Empowering Growth
MMN Mentors worshops are desigend to develop your core skills as a mentor, focusing on the GROW and OSKAR models.
Our workshops are designed as peer learning workshops. These workshops are designed to be engaging, generating knowledge and skills through discussion and brainstorming sessions with your peers.
Additionally MMN helps you to develop additional skills such as communication, time management, emotional management, to enable you to become a more wholistic mentor.
Once you successfully completed our workshops and any additional recommended learnings, you will be asked to sign a mentoring agreement with MMN. Thereafter, provided that you have a valid DBS certificate, you will be able to register as a mentor with MMN.
When we find you a suitable mentee, we will contact you to discuss further on how to engage further with your protegee.
Mentee Workshop
Inspiring Change
For a mentoring programme to be effective both the mentor and the mentee must understand their role and engage in the most effective manner. Too often mentoring programs fail because the mentoring relationship breaks down. This disconnect is formed often as a result of misalignment of the expectation from the relationship or as a result of breach of trust.
As with our mentors workshops, mentees will be taugh how to manage this relationship and their expectations from the program. Tese workshops wil also develop the soft skills of the mentees, enabling them to become better communicator, time and task managers.
Upon completion of the mentee workshop, the mentees will be given a conset form which they will require to sign (minors require parental signature). Providing that they agree to the terms of the mentoring agreement, they will be able to register with MMN and a potential candidate.
Once a mentor have been matched with the mentee, the mentee or their guardian will be informed. If the mentor and mentee happy with their selections the process of mentoring relationship may begin.
Annual Dinner and Seminar
MMN organises annual seminars, hosting personalities to inspire our mentors, and academics to enhance our skills and knowledge and colleagues to meet and share their experiences.
